Principles for Cooperative Learning

These principles were co-created by the participants in the Cultural Academy. They reflect the culture that they want to create.

Participants in Cultural Academy must:
1 be true to themselves
2 be open and honest with each other
3 respect each other, themselves and the Cultural Academy
4 help each other in an encouraging and supportive way
5 listen to each other and be respectful and tolerant of each others views
6 be sensitive when expressing opinions
7 be prepared to share experiences, thoughts and feelings so that the group as a whole can learn
8 be responsible for their actions (includes being punctual for meetings!)
