Working together to learn

Learning through using this wiki

Think of this wiki as a shared online whiteboard or an organised write-on-wall. Our entire community can share the conference experience, making our ideas, inspirations and information accessible to everyone. Play around with this wiki: notice how you can add comments to a page, see what other people have changed, add pictures or images, and edit all the text. Start by adding your contact details and becoming one of the group. What else? Go back to the video at the foot of FrontPage to remind yourself what there is to try out. Look down to the foot of this page and edit Norman's introductory document. How does the redrafting process work?

Links to interesting sites and documents

This new page, added by participants in Manchester focuses on Planetary Citizenship - some great links to the global issues. Check it out! Add comments, new links, pictures.

This is a link embedded in Norman's introduction in the conference programme Shift Happens but it's worth drawing attention to it in case it gets overlooked!  My colleague Osama emailed me to encourage me to have a look and I'm sure he won't mind me quoting him "I rather got inspired about my responsibility as an academic to prepare my students for the ever changing world after watching this video clip in Norman’s forwarding. Have you watched it? You must and you would be amazed."

Dave Tinham started a personal reflection page for the conference that i'd love you to contribute to, hope that's ok? I promise to try and contribute here too!

A starting point

Let's use Norman's introduction to the conference as a starting point for a shared conference document about learning for a complex world. Or add your own new beginning. How does this one work?! Preparing students for a lifetime of living.doc
