WHAT DOES LEARNING FOR A COMPLEX WORLD MEAN?

'Learning to be as well as learning about'

This is a question we need to try to answer if we are to provide a higher education experience that will equip our students for a lifetime of learning. This wiki is a collection of stories that might be associated with the question. A new page signals that someone has had the courage to begin a story that makes a bit of sense to them and then lets go so others can add their own stories or elaborations. Through this storytelling process we begin to build a collective, richly connected story of the many interpretations and understandings of what learning for and in a complex world might mean. The wiki is supported by the Surrey Centre for Excellence in Professional Training and Education (SCEPTrE) at the University of Surrey. You can gain access to our other wikis through the SCEPTrE Portal. See how we have explored the idea of lifewide learning and lifewide education.
